Oh! What a day for our cricketers!

There I was, all set to brag about my trip to Yala after an absence of 6 years, and what happens! It's yet another act of horrific terrorism in mega proportions! It's unbearable to watch on TV - what do you do when you are , literally, sitting ducks! It is a miracle that our guys are alive! Even though that I suspect that they were just targetted to make a much bigger point, globally. The terrorists, were after the big picture, so to speak! And our fellows were just handy targets.

This then must lead to some serious thoughts on many counts. Do we send our cricketing heroes to places where the security is questionable? And more to the point, is there any place on Earth, that one can really say, is SAFE?

Hi, No! You didn't read it wrong! It is actually 'Socialist' and NOT a Socialite! Which are two very different things, if you ask me, and actually, you can ask me anything! I have been wanting to create a blog for so long and finally, here I am, doing my thing!
